Terms of Service
The ground rules for using this site, its content, and my services.

Who you're dealing with
This site is run by Carol Monroe. Paid services are delivered through Moonshot Labs LLC, a Delaware (USA) limited liability company. Questions: hello@carolmonroe.com.
Content is provided as is
Guides, workarounds and field notes document what worked for me on real projects. They are shared in good faith, but they come with no warranty of any kind. Many of them touch databases and production systems: always back up your data before following one, and apply them at your own risk.
Intellectual property
The content on this site is © Carol Monroe. You are welcome to share it with attribution and a link. The skill packs are open source and each carries the license in its GitHub repository.
Services and sessions
The scope of paid work (sessions, builds, audits, migrations) is what appears in the quote or what we agree on in writing before starting. A 24-Hour Build uses a 50% reservation deposit that is applied to the project total, and the exact build day is confirmed by email. Payments are processed by Stripe. Need to reschedule or cancel? Email me: rescheduling and refunds are handled personally and case by case.
Referral links
Some links on the resources page are referral links: if you sign up through one, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. I only recommend tools I actually use, and every referral link is labeled as such.
Third-party sites
Links to other sites are provided for convenience. I am not responsible for their content, policies or availability.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Carol Monroe and Moonshot Labs LLC are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of this site or its content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
Changes
If these terms change, the effective date above changes with it. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
